There are two incorporated instruments within Jira through which you can share your queries with colleagues on Dashboard:

  1. SQL Cloud Flat Table

  2. SQL Cloud Pivot Table

Both gadgets work according to Jira permissions. That means that shared queries will be run accordingly to the granted user permissions. You don't have to worry that someone who doesn't have access or appropriate permission will see your query, as well as your colleagues get individual results according to their user permissions.

  1. SQL Cloud Flat Table

Here you can give the name of your query, insert copied query from the console, save the result and download it into CSV format.

2. SQL Cloud Pivot table

This gadget works in the same way as Pivot Table, but has also a “none-editable mode”.

What does it mean?

It means that The Pivot table can be set in configurable or non-configurable mode by the Owner of a Dashboard or by a User that has been granted permission to edit it (editor).

Please pay attention, that before setting “non-configurable mode”, you, as a Dashboard Owner or ‘editor’ need to construct pivot table and then switch off “configurable mode”.

Configurable mode

You also have the possibility to download results. It downloads files in XLS format and constructs a pivot table in your excel. The downloaded file has two sheets inside - a Pivot table, and a Flat table named “Data”
