The tree view is the default and principal view and it displays tree structures of linked issues, sub-tasks, epics and portfolio hiearchies on the JIRA:
- Issue Detail page and the
- Agile Board: Detail View

In Jira Cloud you can use the Atlassian's new user experience design, it's available from the drop-down menu:

If the Jira Software application is installed then a new panel is added into the Board Detail View of the for the Scrum Plan:
