Tree elements

The Tree view is composed by two main parts:

the menu bar
tree view area

Manu Bar:

Manu bar elements as Link, Direction, Version, Sprint, Label, Project, Custom Field are filled with elements dynamicaly (or automatically). What does it mean? It means that Links Hierarchy will pick from the issues that are reflected in selected tree hierarchy Depth.

For example: I have 13 issues reflected in the hierarchy Depth 2 and non of them has Version 2.0. So, if you will open tree menu “Version” you will not see in the list version “2.0”.

You can ask: What if I change the hierarchy Depth to 4 and there will apper issues that have this version 2.0, will it be reflected in the tree menu bar in part “Version“. - The unswer is- YES! Links Hierarchy will add this version automatically!

Custom Field in menu bar: specification

A custom field will be shown in the menu, if it has value for at least one issue in the hierarchy displayed. Custom fields that can be displayed in the hierarchy are ONLY of a NUMERIC type. There is no need to add a customfield into the list as Links Hierarchy fills them into the list dynamicly (automatically). In other words Links Hierarchy take customfields from those issues that are present at the moment in hieararchy tree.

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION: if issues on a particular hierarchy Depth level do not contain any numeric custom field - no custom field will be reflected in the tree manu bar “Custom Field“
