App update in response to announcement posted by Atlassian
Deprecation of the Epic Link, Parent Link and other related fields in REST APIs and webhooks
How has the app changed and how does it affect me?
The following items will work as before and you will not notice any difference:
The "Dependency Table" and the "Links Dependency Table (Gadget)" elements will be affected in the following ways:
Dependency Table.
The “Epic Link” and “Parent Link” fields will not be available. These fields are replaced by the "Parent" field.

How will the "Parent" field work?
The "Epic Link" field displayed issues by the epic they belonged to. That is, it showed the relationship
(Epics - Tasks)
The "Parent Link" field only showed the issues according to the configured roadmap hierarchy, only up to the epic level.
The "Parent" field replaces both fields and will display the entire hierarchy from roadmap to subtasks.
Links Dependency Table (Gadget)
If you have gadgets created that do not use the deprecated fields, you do not have to worry since they will not be affected in any way, except for what is described for the "Dependency Table".
What happens to the gadgets that are already configured and use the deprecated fields?
When you run the gadget, the app will replace the “Epic Link” and “Parent Link” fields by “Parent” automatically, whenever possible.
