500 HTTP Error: Invalid Session
By default, JIRA administrators must log in on JIRA twice to access to the administration configuration stuff.
This is the second login detected by BIRT and the current user's session invalidated and the reports running on JIRA will stop to work. Of course, this affects JIRA administrators only. The rest of the users are not affected by this issue.
This behavior can be fixed by:
- Following the instructions provided by Atlassian: Disable Secure Administration Sessions (Recommended for testing the app only).
- Logging again in JIRA to create a new valid user's HTTP session.
ClassCastException
After the BIRT app is updated on JIRA, the BIRT reports stop to work and error message is displayed (or not):
This affects the BIRT app 1.5.0 and below as the Axis Server was not stopped when the plugin was disabled (or re-installed) forcing to re-start JIRA.
