It requires the 7.12.0 version or above

Search for the SQ+JQL Pivot Table gadget and add it to a Dashboard:

Type or copy&paste any query in the SQL field:

By default, the pivot table is in Configurable mode (Yes). Therefore, you can modify it by drag&drop any query column into the rows and columns boxes and set the type of the visualization (table, chart, etc) as well as the calculations for the cells (Sum, Count,…):

Once you are done, edit the gadget and change the Configurable mode to No.

This will display the data only, without the row and columns header for configuration:

It supports drill down by clicking on any cell, the records used to calculate the cell will be displayed on a new page with issue autodetection, so you will be able to drill down again for the issue details.
